On Monday, December 17, 2018, at 11:30, Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel-President of the University of Zakho warmly welcomed Mr. Izaat F. Yahya-President of Nawroz University and held a meeting at the Presidency building of the University of Zakho.
At the beginning of the meeting, the president of the university welcomed the delegate of Nawroz University then shed light on the current situation of scientific level in Kurdistan. On his side, the president of Nawroz University thanked the president and council of the University of Zakho for their warm welcome.
The aim behind this visit was to sign a memorandum of understanding between the University of Zakho and Nawroz University to develop the scientific and academic level of both universities. In the memorandum, they focused on joint projects between the colleges and faculties of both universities. It is worth mentioning that the period of this memorandum is five years.
